It is not every day that leading stars of Kollywood meet up! Recently, Vijay and Rajinikanth met each other at MGR Film City, where they were shooting for their respective films. After wrapping up Bairavaa’s shoot, Vijay learnt that Rajini was also in the premises shooting for 2.0. The two met and exchanged pleasantries, but did not take a picture as Rajini was in special make-up!
National anthem to be played in theatres
The Supreme Court has ordered that the National anthem should be played in theatres before film screenings commence. They have also stated that everyone present in the hall should rise and pay respect to the anthem. This order has been receiving a lot of mixed reactions from the cine industry and audiences. At this juncture, it should be mentioned that theatres like Parangi Malai Jothi and AVM Rajeshwari have been following this practice since their inception.
