It was earlier confirmed that Suriya was teaming up with director Muthaiah of Komban fame for a film. Now, fresh reports state that Ritika Singh, who shot to fame in her debut film Irudhi Suttru, and Keerthy Suresh have been approached for the female lead roles.
It is also rumoured that a brother-sister bond is the baseline of the story, and Ritika Singh is expected to play the role of Suriya’s sister in the yet-untitled film.
Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh, who has already bagged films of leading K-town heroes like Vijay and Dhanush, might be paired opposite the Anjaan star in the film.
When contacted, director Muthaiah, says, “So, far talks have been going and the actresses have been approached but nothing has been finalised yet. It will take another week to finalise the cast.” Praveen KL, editor of Rajinikanth-starrer Kabali, and composer D Imman are expected to join the crew of the upcoming film.
