At a time when Suriya and Karthi have been talking about a possible collaboration in a film, Venkat Prabhu who had worked with both, has managed to bring them together. Not for a movie but for a song in his upcoming flick Party, which has music by his brother Premgi Amaren. Yes, the hot brothers rendered a peppy number ‘Cha Cha Charey’, which was recorded recently. The film, touted to be a gangster comedy riot, has an ensemble cast of Jai, Shaam, Shiva, Sathyaraj, Jayaram, Nasser, Ramya Krishnan, Regina Cassandra, Nivetha Pethuraj and Sanchita Shetty.
The movie was entirely shot in Fiji islands and Sathyaraj’s image makeover is said to be the highlight of the movie. Taking to his social media handle, the director announced that he’d release a single from the movie, with Suriya and Karthi rendering the number, on July 2. A promo video was also posted by him where both Suriya and Karthi are seen arriving at the recording studio. Party has cinematography by Rajesh Yadav and is produced by T. Siva.
