On his birthday, Suseendhran who has given many hits, opens up about how he faces resentments from certain producers and actors who aren’t willing to work with him or finance his movies. “Recently, the demise of producer Ashok Kumar shook me and I had opined my views on the raw realities, which had resulted in actors and financiers keeping away from me. Nevertheless, till now, I haven’t borrowed money to make films nor have I lent to anyone.”
The Naan Mahaan Alla director, who has three films in his kitty, says he has completed two of them. “Over the span of 10 years, particularly in 2017, I have introduced five new actors and producers. I have almost completed a couple of films – Angelina, an urban thriller and Genius. My new film Champion based on football will kick-start immediately after the strike issues get over. I am hopefully endeavouring with new attempts and fresh themes with my upcoming projects banking all my trust on cinema lovers.”
