PWith horror still a favourite genre in Tamil cinema, Naani, a Kannada supernatural thriller with a devotional touch, with Suhasini Mani Ratnam in the lead, is being dubbedas Sivagami in Tamil. Speaking at the promo meet for the movie, Powerstar Srinivasan, who knows how to stay in the limelight, took the opportunity to urge Rajinikanth to start apolitical party.
The comedy actor said "Before coming into films, I took Radha Ravi's advice. He was averse to my plan and scolded me for it. I thought he was jealous of me entering films. But what he said was correct. I have lost several crores by making films. A lot of incorrect reports appear in themedia. Nevertheless, I overcame all hurdles."
"I am making a request to Rajini Sir to start his political party soon. Kindly include me in your party and give me the post of Deputy Chief Minister. Or else, I will launch a party and you are welcome to join it", he said, in a lighter vein.
