Karthi, who was shooting for a crucial Rekla Race sequence in Karaikudi for his upcoming film Kadai Kutty Singam in Pandiraj's direction, had two surprise visitors to his sets on Tuesday. Suriya who is bankrolling the film in his home banner along with his son Dev had come to see the 100-year-old traditional sport of Tamils being shot for the film.
The Singam star who was in a nostalgic mood posted a picture with his son and wrote “Revisited some beautiful childhood memories with Dev. Rekla. KadaiKuttySingam Nostalgia! Culture!” In the picture his son is watching the Rekla Race set for the film.
The film will see Karthi portray the role of a farmer. Sayyeshaa Saigal will be romancing him. Priya Bhavani Shankar will also be seen in a key character in the film along with Sathyaraj, Bhanupriya and Soori.
