Madhavan's 'Saala Khadoos' to be remade in Telugu with Venkatesh

Looks like Madhavan’s hard work has finally paid off! His movie Saala Khadoos/Irudhi Suttru, which was released recently, has got off to a great opening at the box office and has been declared a hit. Now, it’s been confirmed that the movie would be remade in Telugu with Tollywood star Venkatesh reprising Madhavan’s role. A little birdie also tells us that PVP Cinemas is likely to produce it.

Reports suggest that Venkatesh, who watched the movie, was touched by the way the movie has been presented and expressed his desire to do it in Telugu. This perhaps is the first time that a top actor came on board to remake a film even before its release! We hear that Sudha who directed the Tamil and Hindi versions of Irudhi Suttru will be directing the Telugu version. While Ritika Singh is said to play the heroine, the rest of the cast and crew will be confirmed soon.
