Kiku Sharda Clears the Air on Kapil Sharma's Punctuality on The Great Indian Kapil Show
Kiku Sharda has irrefutably made one thing clear in clearing the air: The Great Indian Kapil Show is running on time and so is Kapil Sharma.

During a very frank interaction with Ranveer Allahbadia, comedian and actor Kiku Sharda was recently asked about one of the biggest speculations related to The Great Indian Kapil Show: how the team had to sit idle for hours waiting for their celebrity guests, or sometimes even Kapil Sharma himself. He said whether that was still the case or something that has evolved with time.
Kiku replied with refreshing candour to clear the air that the perception is now belied. The show today, he says, runs with far more professionalism and discipline than what people fathom. “People mostly come on time…and Kapil also comes on time,” he said, directly addressing the rumor that Kapil Sharma was notorious for reporting late at shoots. Kiku says such comments might have been common earlier, but they no more reflect reality.
In fact, he went further to underline that punctuality has now become a clear priority for the entire team, including Kapil. Celebrity guests arriving late were once considered a routine part of the entertainment industry, often delaying shoot schedules. But Kiku brought out that all this has changed a lot with the new format and revamped approach behind The Great Indian Kapil Show.
“Earlier people would say he never did, but now even he arrives punctually and so do the guests,” Kiku said, subtly yet firmly taking on the myth of Kapil being late. His remarks quite eloquently reveal the fact that the shooting atmosphere is much more organized now, allowing smoother shoots and proper coordination between the cast and visiting stars.
Kiku's comments not only break the sustained speculation over Kapil's "lateness" but also reiterate that the team means business in terms of working with efficiency. With the show enjoying very good TRPs and hosting some of the biggest names from Bollywood and beyond, this change towards a more professional workflow does seem to pay off.
