Kantara Prequel Faces More Tragedy: Actor Rakesh Poojary Dies After Heart Attack

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara was a huge hit at the box office. The film’s prequel has been making headlines for a lot of controversies due to some tragic events. Recently, a junior artist associated with the movie died due to drowning while swimming in the river.

According to the latest reports, actor Rakesh Poojary, who was the winner of Comedy Kiladigalu Season 3, died on Sunday due to a heart attack. The incident took place at a Mehendi ceremony in Nitte near Udupi on Sunday. He had completed the film's shoot and came to attend the wedding event.

Rakesh suffered a sudden heart attack and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead. He was fine on the movie sets but had a heart attack after the shoot.

Kannada film industry colleagues of Rakesh Poojary are saddened by his untimely demise.
