On social media, the star thanked Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and Cinematography Minister Durgesh Kandula for facilitating ticket price hikes for the film. War 2—a part of Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe—hits screens on August 14 and marks NTR’s Hindi film debut alongside Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. The high-octane actioner will clash with Rajinikanth’s Coolie, setting up one of the year’s most anticipated box office battles.
Earlier, NTR had also extended his thanks to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for permitting the pre-release event in Hyderabad. Following the massive gathering, he shared a video message acknowledging CM Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and the Telangana Police for ensuring the event’s smooth and safe execution.
Along with the video, he said:“My sincere thanks to the Government of Telangana and the honourable CM Shri @revanth_anumula garu, as well as the Telangana Police Department @TelanganaCOPs for their support in making the #War2 pre-release event a grand success.”
With both state governments extending cooperation, War 2 is gearing up for a grand release across the Telugu states this holiday season.
