After paying his respects to the deceased legendary actor, some of Jr. NTR's fans began to chant "Jai NTR." Jr. NTR, who had started to leave the stage, came back to set the record straight. Pointing a finger at the fans, he said, "No, say Jai Kota Srinivasa Rao!" This gesture is now winning hearts across the internet.
A video widely circulating on social media shows the War 2 actor addressing the media and speaking about Kota Srinivasa Rao's legacy.
"Let's celebrate the legacy he left behind through his unforgettable performances across all mediums, and do so without sorrow," NTR said in Telugu. As he finished his statement and began to walk away, some off-camera fans started chanting "Jai NTR." This is when the RRR actor schooled his supporters.
Kota Srinivasa Rao died due to age-related issues, having been unwell for the last few days. He acted in over 750 movies in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Jr. NTR, Victory Venkatesh, among others, paid their respects to him.
