Jr NTR, Nandamuri Kalyan pay homage to NT Rama Rao

Today marks the 29th death anniversary of legendary actor and politician NT Rama Rao, who passed away on January 18, 1996. To honor his memory, his grandsons – actors Jr NTR and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram – visited NTR Ghat in Hyderabad. The brothers paid floral tributes at their grandfather’s memorial and observed a moment of silence in remembrance.
Dressed in black T-shirts, Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram were seen with folded hands, solemnly paying their respects. They took a quiet moment near the memorial to reflect on the legacy of the late NTR.
NT Rama Rao, a revered figure in Telugu cinema and politics, was known for his iconic mythological roles in over 300 films. He also served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for seven years. NTR’s contributions to Indian cinema were honored with three National Awards for his work as a co-producer and director. He passed away at his Hyderabad home due to a heart attack in 1996.
