Director Prashanth Neel and Jr. NTR are collaborating on a new project, for which the title is yet to be announced. According to recent reports, the North American distribution rights for this untitled film have been acquired for a massive advance of Rs 50 crores.
This is reportedly the highest price paid for such rights, second only to Prabhas's Kalki 2898 AD.
Director Prashanth Neel is going to announce the movie's new release date today at 12:06 pm. The hashtag #NTRNeel is currently trending on social media.
Speculation within Telugu film circles suggests that the untitled movie is slated for release on April 9, 2026. Initially, the production team planned for a Sankranthi 2026 release, but potential shooting delays have caused the postponement.
Dragon is the rumoured title for the project. Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth is expected to play a prominent role. The film is being jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. Currently, principal photography is progressing rapidly.
