Joheirry Mola Dominguez of Dominican Republic Wins Miss World 2026
Spain’s Elisabeth Reynés Alabern finished as the first runner-up

Nha Trang (Vietnam): Joheirry Mola Dominguez of the Dominican Republic was crowned Miss World 2026 at a glittering 75th-anniversary finale held here on Saturday.
The 24-year-old teacher and journalist bested 110 contestants from across the globe to secure the coveted title at the open-air 2 April Square (Quảng trường 2 tháng 4) in Khanh Hoa province.
Spain’s Elisabeth Reynés Alabern finished as the first runner-up, while Taanusiya Chetty of Malaysia was adjudged the second runner-up.
Dominguez was crowned by the outgoing Miss World, Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand.
Hailing from Santo Domingo, Dominguez is a professional model and community advocate actively involved in initiatives supporting underprivileged children and youth.
She earned her place at the global pageant after winning the Miss World Dominican Republic title in 2025 representing Distrito Nacional. Ahead of the grand finale, she secured a spot in the Top 40 by winning the Americas and Caribbean segment of the Top Model fast-track competition.
The grand finale in Vietnam marked both the 73rd edition of the beauty pageant and the 75th anniversary of the Miss World organisation.
