Despite facing challenges surrounding their Tamil film Jana Nayagan, producer Venkat K Narayana and KVN Productions have remained firm on their commitment to make a grand entry into Tollywood with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s highly anticipated 158th film.
According to industry sources, the production house encountered financial pressure due to delays and issues surrounding Jana Nayagan, which reportedly created concerns within the production circle. However, the team decided to stay focused on its Telugu venture despite the hurdles.
“Despite the difficulties surrounding Jana Nayagan, they remained committed to their Telugu project. Even when Chiranjeevi reportedly advised them to take more time and proceed cautiously, they came back with confidence and chose to move ahead as planned,” said a source close to the development. The film is now expected to begin on May 21.
Chiranjeevi is reuniting with director K. S. Ravindra for a high-voltage mass entertainer after the blockbuster success of Waltair Veerayya. Their successful combination has already generated massive excitement among fans.
The makers recently released a special video in which Chiranjeevi announced the launch date through an intense gym-training session. The footage showcased the actor undergoing high-intensity workouts, hinting at a physically demanding role and an action-heavy narrative.
Chiranjeevi’s dedication to his transformation reflects the scale of the project and the script reportedly prepared by Bobby Kolli. Known for delivering crowd-pleasing entertainers, the director is said to have crafted a powerful story that will present the Megastar in a fresh and explosive avatar.
