The shooting for Rajinikanth’s much-awaited movie, Jailer 2, has wrapped up. The film is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
The project is produced by Sun Pictures, who announced the news by writing, "Alapparai Kelappurom, Thalaivaru Nerandharam! It's a wrap for Jailer 2." The makers also shared photos of a cake-cutting ceremony held to mark the completion of filming.
The film boasts a stellar cast, including Jatin Sarna, Mithun Chakraborty, Santhanam, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Vijay Sethupathi, Meghana Raj Sarja, and Anna Rajan. Additionally, Nora Fatehi is likely to perform a special dance number in the movie.
While Jailer 2 was initially scheduled to hit theaters on June 12, rumors are circulating that the release might be pushed to August. However, the makers have yet to officially announce the final release date. Anirudh Ravichander, who made a guest appearance in the first film, is returning to compose the music for the sequel.
