Actress Rose McGowan, who revealed earlier this month that she was raped by disgraced film mogul Harvey Weinstein, further disclosed that she was offered money in return for her silence.

The actress told The New York Times that she was offered USD 1 million to sign a nondisclosure agreement to prevent her from speaking out against Weinstein. McGowan admitted that she initially countered his offer with a figure of USD 6 million, but confessed that she felt disgusted by the whole idea and later retracted her offer.
