Brad Pitt, his boyishly good looks screaming through his T-shirt, jacket and newsboy cap, was photographed arriving in Italy ahead of the Venice International Film Festival. And as he posed, a new tattoo on his right inner bicep peeked out to the world from under his T-shirt’s sleeve.
The tattoo of a man’s silhouette standing over his shadow is located near another very meaningful ink, a quote from a poem by Rumi, which reads, “There exists a field, beyond all notions of right and wrong. I will meet you there.” That was a tattoo he’d got with ex-wife Angelina Jolie in honour of their 2014 wedding.
Now fans, according to People, are speculating if the tattoo’s an ode to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, the 2008-drama that Pitt starred in or inspired by his character in 1998’s Meet Joe Black.
Brad’s space thriller Ad Astra premiered on August 29 at the Venice Film Festival, which runs from August 28 to September 7. The film releases in theatres on September 20....
