21-year-old supermodel Kendall Jenner is all set to receive a big honour during the New York Fashion Week on September 8. Kendall will be named the “Fashion Icon of the Decade” at the Daily Front Row’s 2017 Fashion Media Awards, according to the company’s FashionWeekDaily.com.
Meanwhile, Jordan Barrett will be named the “Male Model of the Year” and Mario Testino “Creative of the Year”, according to JustJared.com.
However, some Twitter users criticised Kendall because she was just 11 years old a decade ago. Another user went on to say that Rihanna deserved the award. “I’m tired of y’all giving Kendall Jenner credits that she doesn’t deserve. Kendall is not the fashion icon of this Decade. Rihanna is,” the user wrote.
