Justin Bieber turns down $5 million!
Justin Bieber got a $5 million offer to perform during the Gallant Old Party (GOP) Convention, but he turned it down after his manager considered quitting and LeBron James urged him to reject it, sources informed TMZ.com.
Justin was to perform for 45 minutes. The promoter even assured Justin’s crew that the event was not political and Justin would not be endorsing Trump or any GOP policies. According to the proposed contract, the $5 million was bankrolled by GOP donors. The money was to be paid before Justin even arrived. The donors also promised to cover production expenses.
It would have the biggest single payday ever for Justin or for any other singer, and he seriously considered doing it. But his manager Scooter Braun, a big Hillary Clinton supporter, had problems with the offer. Scooter felt, regardless of the representations, that the event was 100 percent political.
