Ashton Kutcher testifies against serial killer Michael Gargiulo
Actor Ashton Kutcher on Wednesday took the stand in a murder case, and his testimony could prove vital in the case of a man who prosecutors call a “serial sexual-thrill killer”, according to Tmz.com.
Kutcher testified in an L.A. courthouse in the trial of Michael Gargiulo, also known as the Hollywood Ripper, who has been accused of attacking four women and killing three of them over the past fifteen years. Among these women happens to be Ashley Ellerin, a friend of Kutcher’s who was going to be his date to a Grammys after-party in February 2001 but never showed.
Kutcher reportedly went to her house to check but she never answered the door, so he looked through a side window and noticed “red wine spilled on the floor”. Only the next morning did he learn that Ashley had been killed after she was found dead in her bathroom with over forty-seven stab wounds. Authorities believe that Gargiulo was behind the act.
The other victims of the alleged serial killer include Tricia Pacaccio (Illinois, 1993) and Maria Bruno (California, 2005). He allegedly even attacked Michelle Murphy at her Santa Monica home in 2008, but she managed to defend herself and called 911.
