Irish director John Carney was recently interviewed on The Independent over the weekend and in the interview he accused Pirates Of The Caribbean actress Keira Knightley of not having enough skills to be a part of his movie, Begin Again. The actress had played the role of a singer in the musical romantic comedy that was released in the year 2013. He also slammed the actress for having a big entourage and that he could not connect with and called her 'disenchanted'.
The filmmaker also made comments about her modelling and said that he would never work with a ‘supermodel’ again. But Keira is primarily an actress and she has only modeled for Chanel in the recent times. Carney did stop with that, he went on saying, “Keira's thing is to hide who you are and I don't think you can be an actor and do that. I like to work with curious, proper film actors as opposed to movie stars. I don't want to rubbish Keira, but you know it’s hard being a film actor and it requires a certain level of honesty and self-analysis that I don't think she has and I certainly don’t think she had it during that film,” reported dailymail.co.uk.
