Fabolous turned himself in to the authorities and was arrested on Wednesday night after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Emily B. Sources connected to the couple and law enforcement told TMZ.com that Emily contacted the police first, telling them that the rapper had hit her.
Fabolous was accompanied by his attorney when he went to the police. He did not spend time in jail but was cited for the alleged incident and given a ticket for his court appearance.
The same night, he seemed to be reacting to his arrest with an online post. “2018 tryna break my heart (sic)” he wrote. Emily and Fab have two children together, aged two and 10 years.
He was booked for aggravated assault and making a terroristic threat.
