Watch: Priyanka Chopra proud to be a part of history with The Jungle Book

Check out this new video that takes us behind-the-scenes of the big-budget fantasy adventure's voice sessions.

International sensation Priyanka Chopra was lauded for her work in 'The Jungle Book'. She has lent her voice to Kaa (the python), who will be guiding our very own Mowgli through the dense jungle.

While in the original trailer, Scarlett Johansson has lend her voice to Kaa, in the Hindi dubbed version of ‘The Jungle Book’, we’ll see Priyanka lending her voice to the bewitching character.

The makers have released a new video that takes us behind-the-scenes of the big-budget fantasy adventure’s voice sessions.

Priyanka said, “There are so many layers to Kaa and that was what was fun for me to bring in. It’s just not a sexy, sultry voice. It’s what the voice evokes. It’s like the fly trap, the praying mantis. She brings you in and makes you feel like home.”

She further adds, “I feel like I’m a part of history, being a part of Jungle Book and that’s why I wanted to do it. It’s such an iconic film and it’s such an iconic part. Jungle Book is incomplete without these characters and I get to be a part of that and I get to be a part of history.”

Along with Priyanka, Irrfan Khan, Nana Patekar, Shefali Shah and Om Puri have agreed to lend their voices to the characters of Kaa, Baloo- the bear, Shere Khan- the tiger, Raksha- the wolf and Bagheera- the panther, respectively.
