Now that rapper Cardi B has backed out of the show, singer Bruno Mars is left stranded without an opening partner for his tour, reports TMZ.com.
The Bodak Yellow singer stepped out because she wants to take care of her newborn daughter Kulture and “underestimated the whole mommy thing (sic).”
Sources close to Bruno say that the tour, which is slated to kick off in September, has not found a replacement for the opener.
According to sources, Cardi’s sudden resignation has caused some technical issues as dancers were hired and costumes were made.
The Grenade singer replied with a heartfelt message of support and understanding, saying “We love you Cardi and we will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honour.”
