Lord Give Me a Sign rapper DMX is reportedly getting help at a rehab and has postponed his concert dates. Sources close to DMX tell TMZ.com that he checked himself at a rehab center in Southern California on Thursday night. His manager and ex-wife Tashera Simmons are supporting him. The rapper was previously in a rehab while he was battling substance abuse. And now, he has been drinking heavily.
DMX had cancelled three of his shows this week. The rapper felt he was “moving to a dark place” and wants to stay on the right path. X’s manager said, “It is important right now that he take some time off to focus on his health so that he can be a better father, friend and entertainer. We’re eternally grateful for the concern and support that has poured in. We ask that you please keep X in your prayers as he embraces your support.”
