In a sordid turn of events, actor Nicholas Cage has filed for an annulment from the whirlwind marriage to his girlfriend, Erika Koike, reports People.com. The 55-year-old actor submitted annulment application on Wednesday, according to court documents.
Cage and Koike, a makeup artist, filed for a marriage license on Saturday in Las Vegas and received their marriage certificate the same day, court records show. A rep for the actor did not immediately respond for comment.
Cage and Koike have kept their relationship low-key, although they were spotted vacationing together in Puerto Rico in April 2018. They were photographed together again in May of that year while out to dinner in Los Angeles.
