London: Darth Vader will appear in 'Rogue One' and he reportedly will have a more significant role.

New details of 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' have emerged. Movie fans who have been curious about whether or not Darth Vader will appear in the movie taking place before the events of 'Episode IV' can now get the answer, reported Digital Spy.

Speculations about Darth Vader appearing in 'Rogue One' have been swirling around since last year. The character will appear in the upcoming film and he will have a bigger role than previously thought.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, “Rogue One” is said to be more like a war film involving the heist of the plans for the Death Star.

The cast members include Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed and Forest Whitaker. It is scheduled to hit US theatres on December 16.
