American Football just got bigger! Come February, singer-performers Jennifer Lopez and Shakira are all set to rock the halftime performance of the Super Bowl at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
People.com reports that Lopez and Shakira appeared in a taped segment during Thursday Night Football, where they gave fans a sneak peek into what to expect.
“This is gonna be so much fun! exclaimed Lopez, even as she gushed about Shakira — She’s such a dynamic performer, she does her own thing.”
She went on to add, “It’s going to be an exciting show. When you think about Shak and what I do, the combination of that, I think of an explosion of fun and energy!” Interestingly, the Super Bowl is slated for February 2, 2020, which also happens to be Shakira’s birthday.
Previous performers at the mega event have included Maroon 5, Big Boi, Travis Scott, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Coldplay.
