Demi Lovato took to her Instagram Stories, explaining the reason as to why she didn’t attend this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
Demi Lovato was not seen at the MTV VMAs 2019 and there’s more to it than her dislike for award shows. According to Justjared, Demi, who was recently announced as having joined the cast of the upcoming Netflix comedy movie Eurovision, took to her Instagram Stories on August 26 to clarify.
“Okay I can’t tell you guys what I’m doing today (you’ll find out super soon tho) but its making me SO HAPPY, I’m having SO MUCH FUN and I can’t stop laughing,” she wrote.

“Now go come up with your crazy ass theories as to what it might be!!! […] Y’all… none of my news has to do with my dogs, pickles OR MUGS… COME ONNNNNN. I skipped the VMA’s for a REASON,” said her Instagram Stories.
“Well that and I just hate award shows,” she finished.
