Tom Hiddleston joined Instagram only a few weeks ago, but he’s already fallen victim to hacking. The High-Rise actor’s account was hacked on Friday as fans noticed some off-brand posts going up, including some weird videos, a Snapchat code to an unknown user and more.
The hackers had control of his account for about two hours, promoting other Instagram users with captions like, “Follow me. I will tell you some thing important.” They also shared a photo promising fans they’d eventually give the account back to Tom, according to EOnline.com. The actor regained control over his account soon and deleted the posts that were made.
Hiddleston joined Instagram on August 9 and started following his co-stars, friends and his girlfriend Taylor Swift.
