Ed Sheeran explains lip sync issue
After singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran was accused of lip-syncing at his Glastonbury concert, he hit back on Monday, taking to Twitter to explain that it was just the use of a device called loop station, and not a backing track.
The Shape of You hit-maker was forced to explain himself despite many fans defending him. A loop station records a part of the singer’s song in real time, so it can be played repeatedly.
Ed tweeted, “Never thought I’d have to explain it, but everything I do in my live show is live, it’s a loop station, not a backing track. Please google,” and followed it up with, “Anyway, great night, great atmosphere, family, friends, fun. Love you all.”
While the artiste performed 15 of his, some viewers were confused when they allegedly heard the guitar sound when the singer wasn’t playing.
