Being outlandish and impolite has come back to bite Shia LaBeouf. Last month, it was reported that Shia attacked a bartender, and called him a “f**king racist”, threatening him over French fries. Now, the bartender is hitting out at him with a lawsuit!

TMZ.com reports that while it was never clear why the actor got so mad at David Bernsrein, the bartender, the lawsuit filed by him claims that Shia lost it because he had been refused any more alcohol. David said that Shia was “significantly under the influence” and that he was pounding on the bar with his fist when he was told that alcohol for him had been cut off.
The bartender insists that he is not a racist and that all his customers like him, including the African Americans. He is suing Shia for defamation and assault, and is seeking damages of up to five million dollars.
