Many folks from Tollywood were on the guest list for Akhil Akkineni’s destination wedding in Italy. They had all booked their tickets well in advance. Unfortunately, the wedding got called off, leaving many of the guests confused — should they cancel their tickets to Italy or go ahead and have a holiday! While many cancelled their tickets, director Vikram Kumar, who’s set to work with Akhil in the actor’s second film, decided not to do so. Instead, he’s going on a holiday to Italy with his wife.
“They had planned to go for the wedding. But now that it isn’t happening, they have instead turned it into a holiday. In fact, after they got married in last September, the couple hasn’t had the time to go on a quick getaway. So this seems like a good chance,” shares a source. Thanks to Akhil, Vikram is taking his much needed holiday.
