Despite being a critic of Donald Trump and active within the political sphere, actor Tom Hanks has said that he will never become a politician. In an interview with 60 Minutes, Tom said, “Oh dear Lord, that would be a disaster. Who the hell would want that job? I never want to have any job where I have to answer the phone.”
The Sully actor, however, added that he didn’t think a Trump presidency would be the end of America as we know it. “We would be fine. I don’t want Donald Trump to be President of the United States. But in the grand scheme of things, America corrects itself,” Tom said.
