Miley hasn’t been nominated for any MTV awards this year, and her fans aren’t happy. And going by the messages on some of their social media pages, many Miley fans will boycott the 2019 MTV VMAs.
Some of them have even posted on their Instagram that they weren’t going to watch the show unless Miley performed. And Miley is clear that there was “No f–kin way” she’d perform. According to Justjared, a fan sent a message to the awards show, writing, “They care more about a f–king green screen than a message to the world. nominate anyone but at least do not use the image of Miley to promote their damn prizes @vmas and #SheIsComing #Peace.” Miley Cyrus commented on it, writing, “Exactly.”
Even so, fans debated for long about her not being nominated. The show, which airs on MTV on August 26, will be hosted by Sebastian Maniscalco.
