RnB singer R.Kelly walked as a free man after signing a $100 bond (Rs 7,100). He pleaded not guilty in the court on Monday.
The artist has been accused of sexual harassment by 10 women. Sources in Kelly’s camp revealed that he paid the bond with a bank cashier’s cheque to ensure that there won’t be any issues with his cheque clearing.
According to TMZ.com, R.Kelly left the jail looking exhausted and met with many photographers waiting to click him. Apparently, there were also protesters outside the jail who hurled abuses and called him a paedophile.
The first stop after the jail for the singer was McDonalds.
