Even as fans were eagerly looking forward to see pop legend Robbie Williams as part of the judging panel of the reality singing TV show Let It Shine, the 43-year-old singer pulled out of the show on Saturday, citing an ailment. Robbie’s cancellation is being seen as evidence of the continuing rift with his former Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, who is the lead judge on the show.
However, Dailymail.co.uk reports that he will still perform with Take That in the live finale. BBC broke the news, which came as a shock, after Robbie’s had earlier said on Wednesday, “I’m looking forward to being back with Gary, Mark and Howard on Let It Shine and am excited to be a guest judge for the very special final.”
