Fuller House stars react to bad reviews
Fans had been eagerly waiting for the return of Fuller House, the sequel to the beloved ’90s family sitcom Full House. Post the first episode of the new show, some critics have been less-than-kind in their reviews of the revival.
Reacting to that, Candance says, “The critics never had a good thing to say about Full House and, yet, it ran for eight years in primetime and then it’s never been off the air in 30 years. So it’s a testament to what the fans want and not what the critics think,” Candace told E! News.
The show has been receiving a lot of negative feedback from various quarters. Netflix’s Fuller House picks up from where Full House left off, with Candace Cameron Bure (D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy) now taking over for Danny (Bob Saget), Jesse (John Stamos) and Joey (Dave Coulier) as the grown-ups.
