Blake is deeply, madly and truly in love. And from his conversation with Martina McBride on her Vocal Point podcast (previewed exclusively with People), it appears he’s still at least a little surprised he got together with Gwen Stefani in the first place.
Contrasting it to being crowned “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2017, he joked, “If you thought the People magazine cover was shocking, mine and Gwen’s relationship is probably the biggest head-scratcher,” reports People.
During his cover story interview with People two years ago, the ever self-deprecating singer had joked, saying, “y’all must be running out of people.”
In the new Podcast episode that premieres October 25 morning on Luminary, Blake gushed about his “most normal, unassuming, just Catholic girl from Anaheim,” saying that down-to-earth woman is the “Gwen that I know.”
