Actor Christian Slater has been sued by his own father, Thomas Knight Slater, who claims that Christian ruined his acting career when he claimed in an interview last year that Thomas suffered from manic-depressive schizophrenia.
TMZ.com reports that according to the lawsuit, Thomas says that the interview Christian gave blacklisted him from Hollywood, when he hoped that he would be hoping to land in the “autumn of his life”.
Thomas — who has acted in movies such as Amityville Horror — claims that Christian has no medical evidence to support his statement and is suing him for $20 million.
