Mumbai: Discussing her relationship with her ex-husband and Coldplay singer Chris Martin on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Gwyneth Paltrow said, “He’s really like my brother, we’re very familial. It’s nice, it’s great.”
The couple has a 13-year-old daughter Apple and 11-year-old son Moses together. When asked whether Paltrow’s type of ‘friendly camaraderie’ with an ex could work for everyone, the Oscar winner admitted,
“Divorce is terrible, it was very painful, it was really hard,” adding, “We really genuinely wanted our kids to be as unscathed as possible.”People.com reported that though the couple remains close, they have completely moved on from their romantic relationship.
Paltrow and fiancé Brad Falchuk officially confirmed their engagement a few weeks ago after dating for over three years. “At midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be,” said Paltrow.
Meanwhile, Chris Martin is reportedly dating Fifty Shades of Grey actress Dakota Johnson.
