Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is soon going to be seen in a very interesting new role. The grapevine has it that the Tamil star will play Obayya, a trusted aide of freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Vijay was recently roped in to play the key role in Chiranjeevi’s ambitious project, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, the biopic of Narasimha Reddy.
“It’s a very crucial character for the film, which is why Vijay was approached. He’s not just a fabulous actor, but will also be able to give the role a spin of his own.
What’s more, it will be an advantage in roping in the Tamil audience too, considering the actor has a good pull at the box office,” shares an industry source.
While Vijay is yet to begin shooting for the film, it is learnt that the attire for his character has already been sketched and the team has also zeroed on his look for the film.
