Ewan confirms Obi-Wan TV series at D23 Event.

All the Star Wars fans, the force seems to be with you! Because it’s confirmed that an Obi-Wan Kenobi series will soon be on Disney Plus, the new over the top (OTT) streaming service.

No, your eyes don’t deceive you. You can trust them; you’re reading this right!
According to Justjared, Ewan McGregor and Star Wars producer Kathleen Kennedy made the official announcement at Disney’s D23 Expo on August 23 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The series will start filming in 2020.

At the event, where the first trailer for The Mandalorian, set in the Stars Wars universe, was premiered, it was also announced that Disney Plus will show several Star Wars series.

The series, which stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito and Taika Waititi, among others, will launch on November 12 when Disney Plus launches.

And tell you what? Even Admiral Ackbar would vouch for it: this is not a trap!
