Rapper Chuck D is suing Alt House Productions over the story rights to a film about his hip hop group Public Enemy, TMZ.com reported. Chuck says he agreed to let the company produce a documentary about Spectrum City, the group that later became Public Enemy.
Now, the company is allegedly blocking a different production company to make a Public Enemy movie.
However, the rapper claims that he didn’t give Alt House exclusive rights to the story. He wants to block them from locking up the film rights.
