Late WWE star Joan “Chyna” Marie Laurer’s brain could soon be used to study the effects of wrestling and the “consequences of concussions and WWE wrestlers”, according to TMZ.com. Speaking to NY Daily News, Chyna’s friend and manager Anthony Anzaldo revealed that she was approached by a group to join a lawsuit against the WWE about brain injury. While she didn’t want to join the suit, Chyna was said to be interested in the science behind it.
The study, says Anthony, is being carried out by a Dr Omalu, the same person Will Smith played in his film Concussion that was based on NFL head injuries and its effect on players.
