According to reports on JustJared.com, the actor and his business partner, Guy Oseary donated a huge amount to The Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Fund. The talk show host stopped them in an episode to announce about the donation. Ashton and Guy have invested in an international crypto currency transfer app called Ripple. Both of them have teamed up to donate $4 million in help for saving gorillas.
Ellen finally started asking her friends for help when wife Portia de Rossi started the new fund. That’s when Ashton came through! During the appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actor mentioned that he has been friends with Ellen for years and she always does things for other people without expecting anything from them.
