Renée Zellweger made her very first appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she expertly dodged questions about the much anticipated film Bridget Jones’s Baby. The 46-year-old insisted she couldn’t give anything away but did gush about “lovely” Patrick Demspey and said that “it’s fun” to have him joining the cast.
The new trailer shows Bridget falling pregnant and unsure whether Mark or Patrick’s character Jack Qwant is the father. But when Renée was asked by Ellen if there will be a fight scene between the two male leads in the film, she insisted, “Oh, I can’t give it up. No, I can’t tell.”
The actress did confirm that Bridget “is having a baby” in the film, which Ellen pointed out was a given from the title. Renée was however thrilled to be making her first appearance on the daytime talk show.
