Check up: Kanye West was taken to a hospital on Monday for a psych evaluation
A day after cancelling all of his upcoming concerts for the rest of the year, Kanye West was taken to UCLA Medical Centre for a psychiatric evaluation on Monday afternoon. TMZ.com reports that he was at his trainer Harley Pasternak’s house to be checked up on for sleep deprivation, when police were called in to check up on his erratic behaviour. By the time the cops got there, he was calmer but refused to go to the hospital.
After being convinced by his management and law enforcement, he was then handcuffed to a gurney and taken to the hospital. Kanye had previously walked out of concerts on Thursday and Saturday after going on rants against Beyoncé and Jay Z, finally cancelling all of his concerts for the rest of 2016 citing exhaustion.
