Chris Hemsworth and his friend Luke Zocchi gave a hitchhiker a ride that he will never forget, reports EOnline .com. On Sunday the Thor star posted a video on Instagram, about how the two friends came across musician Scott Hildebrand looking for a lift, on their way to the surfing mecca Byron Bay. In the video Chris can be heard saying, “We’re going to Byron, we’ll give him a lift.”
While Luke told the camera, “Little does he know we’re getting a chopper,” referring to a helicopter that was waiting to pick up the stars on their way to Byron. “Welcome to Australia, mate,” Luke exclaimed while shaking Scott’s hand, as the car pulled over. Turns out, Scott travelled all the way from Mexico and was super excited to meet Hemsworth, but the final helicopter surprise was a little too much for him! Scott told the news outlet, “The experience was so cool and unexpected. They’re so nice and I couldn’t believe it was happening.”
